David Bowie was an English rock singer, songwriter, musician, and actor. He was born on 8th January 1947 in Brixton, London, United Kingdom. Bowie played different musical instruments like the guitar, piano, and saxophone, but also played harmonica, drums, cello, marimba, bass guitar. David Bowie was widely regarded as an innovator. In five active decades of popular music he frequently reinvented his music and his image. Bowie was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1996 and has been honored with numerous awards for his music winning two Grammy Awards and two BRIT Awards.
