The Cardigans is a Swedish
band formed in the town of Jönköping in October 1992.Their
debut album Emmerdale was released in 1994. They are delivering a pop-rock and
folk to the audience. The
Cardigans reached real success with the following album "Life" in 1996. But it
is with his third album "First Band On The Moon" in 1996 that The
Cardigans knows his biggest success thanks mainly for their evergreen song: Lovefool.
Lovefool's inclusion on the blockbuster Romeo and Juliet film soundtrack helped
them to gain international reputation. Overall the band sold over 15 million
albums worldwide. Members include Bengt Lagerburg – drums, percussion;
Lars-Olof Johansson – acoustic guitar, piano and keyboards; Nina Persson – lead
vocals, keyboards; Magnus Svenigsson – bass guitar, vocals and Peter Svensson –
