The Rolling Stones are an English band, formed in London in 1963. Their blues, rhythm and blues and rock & roll-infused music became popular in England in the early 1960s. Fronted by the charismatic Mick Jagger, the Rolling Stones became a symbol of 1960s rebellion and sexual liberation. Band members: Mick Jagger – lead and backing vocals, harmonica, guitar; Keith Richards – guitar, backing and lead vocals, bass guitar; Charlie Watts – drums, percussion; Ronnie Wood – guitars, lap steel guitar, pedal steel guitar, slide guitar, backing vocals, bass guitar. At the end of the 1960s their creativity reached the new highs. Their albums "Beggars Banquet" (1968) and "Sticky Fingers" (1971) were among the most popular albums they ever made, having such hits as "Wild Horses" and "Brown Sugar." For the next 30 years, they continued to record and perform, and while their records weren't always blockbusters, they were never less than the most visible band of their era. Rolling Stones estimated album sales are above 250 million. They have released twenty-nine studio albums, eighteen live albums and numerous compilations. Stay with the Chords for Beginners blog! I see my red door I must have it painted black
Maybe then I'll fade away and not have to face the facts

No more will my green sea gord turn a deeper blue
I could not foresee this thing happening to you
If I look hard enough into the setting sun
My love will laugh with me before the morning comes

E                                    D
Please allow me to introduce myself
          A                          E
I'm a man of wealth and taste
E                                 D
I've been around for a long, long year
A                                          E
Stole many a man's soul and faith
E  D  A  E...
And I was 'round when Jesus Christ
Had his moment of doubt and pain
Made damn sure that Pilate
Washed his hands and sealed his fate
B
Pleased to meet you
                                   E
Hope you guess my name
                    B
But what's puzzling you
            A                    E
Is the nature of my game
E  D  A  E...
I stuck around St. Petersburg
When I saw it was a time for a change
Killed the czar and his ministers
Anastasia screamed in vain
   E
I rode a tank
             D
Held a general's rank
                  A
When the blitzkrieg raged
               E
And the bodies stank
B  E  B  A  E
Pleased to meet you
Hope you guess my name, oh yeah
Ah, what's puzzling you
Is the nature of my game, oh yeah
E  D  A  E...
I watched with glee
While your kings and queens
Fought for ten decades
For the gods they made
E  D  A  E...
I shouted out,
"Who killed the Kennedys?"
When after all
It was you and me
E  D  A  E...
Let me please introduce myself
I'm a man of wealth and taste
And I laid traps for troubadours
Who get killed before they reached Bombay
B  E  B  A  E
Pleased to meet you
Hope you guessed my name, oh yeah
But what's puzzling you
Is the nature of my game, oh yeah, get down, baby
B  E  B  A  E
Pleased to meet you
Hope you guessed my name, oh yeah
But what's confusing you
Is just the nature of my game
E  D  A  E...
Just as every cop is a criminal
And all the sinners saints
As heads is tails
Just call me Lucifer
Cause I'm in need of some restraint
E  D  A  E...
So if you meet me
Have some courtesy
Have some sympathy, and some taste
Use all your well-learned politesse
Or I'll lay your soul to waste, um yeah
B  E  B  A  E
Pleased to meet you
Hope you guessed my name, um yeah
But what's puzzling you
Is the nature of my game, um mean it, get down
Woo, who
Oh yeah, get on down
Oh yeah
Oh yeah!
Tell me baby, what's my name
Tell me honey, can ya guess my name
Tell me baby, what's my name
I tell you one time, you're to blame.
