The
band was formed in
'88 of five students in Oxford: Thom Yorke – vocals,
guitar, keyboards; Ed O’Brien – vocals, guitar; Jonny Greenwood – guitar,
harmonica; Colin Greenwood – bass guitar; and Phil Selway – drums. At the
beginning they were playing as the “On a Friday” band, later in the nighties after
a name change they released an Ep called Drill. After that Radiohead made a
contract with EMI/Capital and released their most successful song called Creep.
The song was initially unsuccessful, but it became a worldwide hit several
months after the release of their debut album, Pablo Honey (1993). Radiohead
currently has an enormous fan base, expanding with every album and every tour.
Radiohead have sold more than 30 million albums worldwide, in 2005 they were
ranked number 73 in Rolling Stone’s
list of "The Greatest Artists of All Time". Stay on the Chords for Beginners blog! Thanks! Have another great guitar tab: Kelly Family chords
