Magic Chords - Learn to play the guitar in 50 days
The Chords for Beginners’ blog is bringing you the Lynyrd Skynyrd rock band, and it’s famous hits. You can learn four easy guitar chords from the band. The Lynyrd Skynyrd rock band was founded in 1964, in Jacksonville, Florida. Lynyrd Skynyrd was formed by schoolmates, the troop was named after their unpopular gym teacher (Leonard Skinner). A pronunciation guide was presented to us by the first album’s title: „Pronounced leh-nerd skin-nerd”. The original Lynyrd Skynyrd members: Ronnie Van Zant – vocals; Gary Rossington – guitar; Allen Collins – guitar; Leon Wilkeson – bass guitar; Bob Burns – drums. Later joined: Steve Gaines - guitar, Cassie Gaines – vocals. It took five years for them to release their first album, however, this has made them famous immediately.
🎸Post Content:
The band was struck by a fatal
tragedy on 20 October 1977, when their plane
crashed in Mississippi marsh. Six people lost their lives: Ronnie
Van Zant singer, Steve Gaines guitarist, his sister Cassie Gaines, their road manager,
an assistant and the two pilots. The rest of the band survived the tagedy. After ten years,
in 1987 Lynyrd Skynyrd took the stage again, with the help of Ronnie
Van Zant’s younger brother. They toured several times in subsequent years. From the original
band only Powell and Rossington remained. Please give Chords for Beginners a big
